Jiri Stanek has been working in a show business more than three decades. He started first as a stunt performer and worked for a stunt agency in the Czech Republic, EU. ​After too many dangerous situations on a film set when stunt coordinators weren't following safety protocols, Jiri has decided to move to US. In Los Angeles he has trained with the best stuntmen, stunt coordinators and 2nd Unit Directors and has studied all aspects of stunt work including the most important part of stunt business “SAFETY.”

Jiri as a stunt double and a stunt actor has to work closely with directors which inspired and motivated him to put stunt career on hold and started study directing and screenwriting.

Jiri Stanek is a member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) — US Actors Union. He has founded a film production company Jiri Entertainment Productions,  JEP.
